Frequently asked questions
How do I purchase if I don't have a student email address?
Note that when you purchase you will need to enter the email address issued to you by your tertiary institution. If your institution has not issued an email address to you, email a photo of your student ID to student@xyris.com.au and we will send you instructions on how to proceed.
Is FoodWorks for Apple Mac?
FoodWorks 10 is built for the Windows environment. To enable FoodWorks to run on an Apple Mac you will need additional software, including Windows itself. For how to install and run FoodWorks on a Mac, see our support article.
What happens after I buy?
Once your purchase is complete you will receive a Product Key by email. Download FoodWorks if you haven’t done so already. Enter this Product Key when you next start FoodWorks and you are done.
What happens when my subscription ends?
At the end of your subscription FoodWorks you will no longer be able to access FoodWorks.
Buying for a tertiary institution?
If you are buying for a university or college special educational pricing applies.

As a student subscriber, you have access to all the resources on the FoodWorks Learning and Support site. However, you are not eligible for technical support by email, telephone, or via a support request form. (If you do make a support request, we may or may not provide support at our complete discretion.)
